A 3 week beginner’s course will start on September 9th $100 A booking deposit is required. All materials are included
Learn to crochet, crochet terminology, chaining, single, double half treble, treble and double treble. Simple Projects will be made that can be used for Christmas gifts, ie doyley, motifs for blankets or pot holders. All of these simple items will teach you the techniques you will need to made larger items or your own garments.
Your tutor, Bev, with her 5 decades of crochet experience and has won awards for her work. She will guide you on the beginning of your own crochet journey. Come along and join this workshop to gain all the tips and tricks from this very patient and quietly spoken tutor.
LEARN TO KNIT $150
This 4 week course will be held on a Saturday, the last 2 weeks of November and first 2 weeks of December. Learn to cast on, cast off and knit the different stitches.
Your tutor, Julitha, is a top quality craftswoman with years of experience spinning, knitting and winning many national competitions with her lacework and knitted garments.
All materials provided, but a booking fee is required to secure your place in this workshop
Knit to Fit Workshop by Susan Seaman
Saturday 18 May and Sunday 19 May.
10am – 4pm each day
Learn how to knit your jumpers to fit without using a printed pattern, During these two days you will knit a mini jumper (in millimeters) according to your own measurements, ready to convert to centimeters for your perfect fit.
The total weekend cost will be A$120 which includes morning and afternoon tea (byo lunch) and Our West Aust. wool yarns.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required with the balance payment 1 week before the workshop begins.
Attendees will need to bring with them 1 pair of 4mm and 3.25 knitting needles, a wool needle and a tape measure, If you need any of these items they are available from our showroom and will also be available on the day for purchase if needed.
We also request that prior to the workshop each person knits 1 tension piece of 50 stiches by 6 inches of plain knitting.
